Gary Weight is a Military Historian based in the UK.
With emphasis on the European Theatre of Operations during World War II, particularly Normandy, Gary Weight works as an author, researcher, lecturer and battlefield guide.
Current writing projects include 'Mettle and Pasture' - The History of the Second Battalion The Lincolnshire Regiment during World War II.
This book has been a 6 year study of the Battalion throughout WWII and includes the part played in the retreat from Dunkirk in 1940, the D-Day landings in Normandy in 1944 and the subsequent advance through France, Belgium and Holland ending in Germany in May 1945.
The book will be published in December 2015 by Helion Publishing.
Gary is available for lectures and research projects and has contibuted to various media including Television, Radio and International Newspapers and Magazines.
